Overview

Polycorp Ltd. is the industry leader in the design and manufacture of engineered polymer products for a global customer base in the Transportation, Mining and Protective Linings industries. We are currently seeking to fill a full-time position in our Maintenance Department.

Responsible for efficient and safe performance of the facility, including all plant equipment and related functions, by completing corrective and preventative maintenance activities.

• Respond in a timely manner to machine breakdown to maximize equipment uptime.
• Respond in a timely manner to emergency call‑in for facility and equipment repairs.
• Maintain plant electrical cabinets, motors, brushes, disconnects, and lighting as required.
• Complete prescribed corrective and preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain electrical supplies.
• Assist with engineering and continuous improvement development of electrical standards.
• Work with other contractors as required.
• Keep work area orderly and clean.
• Manage and estimate various projects and scope of work.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Ability to teach, guide and lead the service team.
• Ability to handle multiple contracts while under pressure.
• Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner.

• 442A Electrical license.
• 5 years experience as an Electrician.

• Electrical / Mechanical troubleshooting.
• PLC programming.

Weekend DAY Shift – Friday, Saturday, Sunday – work 36 hours but paid for 40 hours (6am–6pm).
