Schedule
:
Monday‑Friday, Day Shift, overtime as required, rotating on‑call.
The CFAA Fire Alarm Inspection Technician will conduct inspections and testing of commercial fire alarm systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CAN/ULC‑S536 fire alarm inspections.
- Complete detailed inspection reports and deficiency documentation.
- Test fire alarm control units, initiating devices and notification appliances.
- Perform preventative maintenance and component replacement.
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers.
- Comply with the Ontario Fire Code, CAN/ULC Standards, NFPA Standards and company safety policies.
Required:
- Current CFAA registration.
- Valid Ontario G Driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of fire alarm inspection experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and pass a criminal background check.
Preferred:
- Experience with Autocall, Siemens, Mircom, Edwards/EST, Honeywell, Notifier, Fire‑Lite, or Kidde systems. Manufacturer certifications are an asset.

Field‑based position requiring travel throughout Southwestern Ontario. The work includes indoor/outdoor environments, ladders, mechanical rooms, occasional overtime, and participation in an on‑call rotation.
