UGDSB is hiring an HVAC Mechanic to support the Maintenance team, focusing on essential repairs and installations. Your expertise will help to maintain the HVAC systems in local educational facilities, ensuring a reliable and comfortable environment for students and staff. You'll be working hands-on with HVAC equipment while adhering to safety and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation and maintenance of HVAC systems

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment independently

• Collaborate with team members on various repair projects

• Conduct inspections as per the preventive maintenance program

• Develop and implement efficient procedures for operations

Requirements:

• Certification as a Refrigeration Mechanic (313A) is required

• Gas Fitter 1 License must be held

• Experience with health and safety regulations strongly preferred

• Proficient in reading technical diagrams

• Valid Ontario driver's license with clean abstract
