Position: Electrician Role in Food Manufacturing
Be a part of Maple Leaf Foods as an Electrician, where your skills can make a difference in food manufacturing! This role ensures electrical and mechanical equipment are operational and efficient.

Working under the Maintenance Supervisor, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of electrical systems. Emphasis is on preventative maintenance and close cooperation with production teams to ensure optimal operation of the plant’s equipment, contributing actively to safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, test, and repair electrical systems and controls

• Troubleshoot microprocessor-based and HVAC systems

• Support power generation and distribution systems

• Maintain accurate records for preventative maintenance

• Interpret blueprints and assist in work planning

Requirements:

• Valid Electrician License is mandatory

• Preferred experience in manufacturing, especially food sectors

• Capable of heavy lifting and focused on safety

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

• Basic computer skills necessary for records
