The Upper Grand District School Board is hiring a full-time HVAC Mechanic. This permanent position provides a rewarding career maintaining vital HVAC systems in educational settings across the region.
You will be part of the UGDSB Maintenance team, responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment at various school locations. Required qualifications include a valid ON Certificate of Qualification and a Gas Fitter 1 License. Strong diagnostic skills and teamwork are essential to ensure optimal performance and safety of HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance and repair of HVAC systems
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance tasks
• Coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs
• Read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Implement safety and compliance standards
Requirements:
• Certificate of Qualification 313A required
• Must possess a Gas Fitter 1 License
• Ozone Depletion Prevention Card (ODP) needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
