Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Master Tech is on the search for Diesel Technicians (310T or 421A) in the Fergus ON area.

This is a hybrid shop and field service opportunity. Travel is required mainly throughout Southern Ontario, and occasionally throughout Western Canada. Work includes maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to drilling equipment in shop and field environments.

• $40.00 - $55.00/hour based on related experience, training, certifications, etc.
• Per diem when on travel assignments. Travel time and costs compensated.

Day shift, Monday to Friday.

• 5 or more years of experience working on off-road heavy equipment (mining, construction, forestry, drills, aerial, earthmoving, etc.) and/or diesel trucks.
• 310T or 421A, or Interprovincial Red Seal is preferred.
• Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Highly proficient with electrical is preferred to secure higher wages.
• About to commit to overnight travel assignments when needed.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
