Tim is 16 and lives with his parents, twin brother, and their two dogs. He enjoys Minecraft, gaming, swimming, cinema trips, and train outings during holidays. He's less keen on chores but responds well to encouragement. Tim has quadriplegic cerebral palsy. He communicates via signs and a computer, can weight‑bear during assisted transfers, and eats independently. He enjoys food and would benefit from support preparing meals and organising holiday plans to build independence and confidence.
The Role at a GlanceTim arrives home at 4:30 pm and is often tired, so routines are flexible. You'll read his mood, encouraging engagement when he's motivated and using gentle prompting when he's reluctant. During school holidays, you'll help plan and support activities chosen by Tim, promoting autonomy and enjoyable structure.
