Spa Assistant Manager

The role…

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional Assistant Spa Manager with previous experience gained in a similar environment with leisure and beauty facilities. You will be NVQ Level 2 & 3 qualified with Temple spa and Elemis training and experience being a distinct advantage. As Assistant Spa Manager you will assist the Spa Manager in looking after our spa and leisure guests and help lead and motivate the team to ensure consistency in customer service.

As Assistant Spa Manager you will have a passion for health and leisure, excellent personal presentation, a good business acumen and sales awareness.

• Being available when the spa manager is not present and taking responsibility for handling staff matters & guest complaints
• Work on all areas – Reception, therapies & office based
• Being accountable for stock and ensuring the ordering is done with appropriate timings to ensure levels do not run out.
• Being competent on Procure wizard to order if the spa manager is not available
• Training of new therapists, ensuring they become Harbour standard
• Training of current employees to make sure the standard does not slip and consistent levels of professionalism stays throughout.
• Ensuring spa breaks & spa seekers invoice/claims are up to date
• Liaising with the maintenance team to ensure the leisure facilities are kept in good working order
• Assisting with monthly rotas ensuring all areas are covered according to business needs and amending on weekly basis if necessary
• Completion of rotas on Fourth for the days when the spa manager is not in
