Consultant Ecologist | £30,000 - £40,000 | Guildford

A dynamic ecological consultancy with over 20 years of experience is seeking a Consultant Ecologist to join a specialist recruitment partner. The company provides ecological advice and environmental solutions across a diverse range of projects, from small-scale developments to major infrastructure and master planning schemes. The business is known for technical excellence, supportive culture and delivering sustainable outcomes for clients. The successful candidate will be based near Guildford and work within an experienced, collaborative team.

• Undertake habitat and protected species surveys
• Prepare technical reports
• Support Ecological Impact Assessments and Biodiversity Net Gain projects
• Liaise with clients and contribute to the successful delivery of projects across the South East

• Experience working as a Consultant Ecologist or in a similar ecology role
• Knowledge of UK protected species, habitats and ecological legislation
• Strong report writing and communication skills
• Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the Guildford office
• CIEEM membership or working towards membership is desirable
