Ecologist
Location: Flexible with travel to sites across the UK
Salary: £30-40k + Car + Excellent Benefits
Assured Safety Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an Ecologist to join its established Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE) team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Ecologist looking to broaden their experience across civil engineering, construction, infrastructure and maintenance projects. The role offers exposure to a diverse range of environments and the chance to develop your career within a supportive and forward thinking organisation.
The Role
As an Ecologist, you'll support a variety of ecological and environmental activities across multiple projects, including:
- Undertaking pre-construction ecological surveys, including protected species and invasive non-native species (INNS).
- Carrying out bird nesting surveys and ecological site inspections.
- Supporting the preparation of Environmental Management Plans.
- Visiting live construction sites to undertake environmental audits and inspections.
- Assisting with waste sampling, classification and environmental monitoring.
