The company also delivers reactive repairs, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes, and building upkeep services. A key focus area is mould identification, treatment, prevention, and repair to protect both building integrity and occupant wellbeing.

This is a full-time, on‑site Mould Remediation Technician role based in Guildford. The Mould Remediation Technician will inspect properties to identify mould growth, moisture sources, and affected materials, and document findings with photos and reports. The role involves safely removing mould, treating contaminated surfaces, setting up containment and filtration equipment, and applying preventative treatments in line with company procedures and health and safety guidelines.
The technician will use access equipment (such as ladders and, where trained, Sky‑Vac systems) to work on roofs, gutters, and external areas that may contribute to damp and mould issues. Daily tasks also include maintaining tools and equipment, completing job records, communicating clearly with clients and colleagues, and supporting reactive repairs and PPM programmes as required.
- Experience in building maintenance, property services, or a related trade (e.g., roofing, damp treatment, or general repairs).
- Understanding of mould causes, moisture control, and safe remediation practices, with a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
- Ability to use hand tools, cleaning equipment, and access equipment safely; comfortable working at height where required.
- Strong observation and basic reporting skills, including documenting site conditions and work completed in a clear, structured manner.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a professional approach to interacting with clients and colleagues.
- Physical capability to perform manual work, including lifting, bending, and working in confined or awkward spaces.
- Full, clean UK driving licence or equivalent, and willingness to travel to client sites in and around Guildford.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., health and safety, working at height, mould or damp remediation) are beneficial but not essential if willing to train.
