£48,367.80 base salary / OTE up to £77,000 with paid travel time, Pension, Comprehensive Training, Company Vehicle + Fuel Card, Testing Equipment, Generous Holiday Entitlement.

The Directors and Senior Management team at Guardian are all qualified Electrical Engineers, with a track record of delivering electrical compliance programmes since the introduction of the Electricity at Work Regulations in 1989. Together, they bring over 200 years of combined experience.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team at Guardian Electrical Compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, ensuring all electrical systems are fully compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings.
• Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non‑compliance issues.
• Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices.
• Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice.
• Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.

Qualifications required:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
• NVQ Level 3 Qualification.
• IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• In‑depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
• Valid UK driving licence.
