The Rewards- Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per year (Positioned right at the top of the independent market based on your specialist VAG experience).

Based in Guildford, we are a trusted independent specialist workshop dedicated exclusively to the service, diagnostic, and performance optimization of Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, and Skoda vehicles. We utilize factory-level diagnostic software and provide online digital service book updates to protect manufacturer warranties. YourRole
As a vital Vehicle Technician / VAG Specialist in our busy Guildford workshop, you will:
- Carry out specialized routine vehicle servicing
, timing chains, cambelts, and safety maintenance to strict manufacturer standards. - Use factory-level online diagnostic systems to efficiently troubleshoot, isolate, and rectify complex electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Complete premium mechanical repairs
, including braking configurations, advanced suspension setups, and drivetrain maintenance. - Support high-performance tuning modifications and remapping projects as an authorized performance specialist team member.
- Maintain clean digital job cards
, handle equipment with high care, and collaborate closely with our senior technical team.
- Qualifications: Industry-recognized automotive certifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent time-served experience). F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
- Experience: Strong technical background working as a Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic, with hands-on, deep familiarity with VAG group platforms (VW, Audi, Seat, or Skoda).
- Key Strengths: Strong diagnostic problem-solving skills, an eye for mechanical precision, and a genuine interest in premium vehicle brands and performance tuning.
- Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required (an active MOT Tester licence is a great benefit).
- Equipment: Must possess your own hand tools to carry out daily repair, diagnostic, and servicing tasks effectively.
Based in Guildford, our modern specialist facility offers a fast, straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Woking, Aldershot, Farnham, Godalming, Cranleigh, Leatherhead, Bracknell, and surrounding Surrey and Hampshire areas.
