Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a reputable independent family-run service centre located in Guildford. The successful Vehicle Technician will be joining a well-established team dedicated to quality service and customer satisfaction. We are recruiting on behalf of our client to find a individual who embodies professionalism and technical excellence.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

Conduct advanced diagnostics using modern equipment and methods
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, servicing, and maintenance on various vehicle makes and models
Support and mentor junior technicians to enhance team skills
Ensure all work complies with industry standards and quality controls
Complete MOT testing if certified, and manage related paperwork efficiently
Contribute to delivering exceptional customer service and maintain a professional workshop environment
Ensure a safe and organised working environment at all times

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

NVQ Level 3 or higher in Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or equivalent qualification
Proven experience as a Master Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic skills with proficiency in interpreting fault codes
Full UK driving licence
MOT Tester certification is advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Ability to work independently and contribute to team development
