VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Up to £37,000 Basic Salary | OTE £45,000

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm | 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing customer vehicles while ensuring the highest levels of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Completing repairs and assembly operations to manufacturer standards
  • Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where appropriate
  • Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations
  • Accurately completing job cards, service records, and workshop documentation
  • Working collaboratively with the workshop team to maximise productivity and efficiency
  • Delivering exceptional workmanship and excellent customer service
ABOUT YOU

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • At least two years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
  • Strong servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic skills
  • MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
  • Ownership of your own tools and toolbox
  • A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
