Description

Are you passionate about cars and looking to start a rewarding career in the automotive industry? Yeomans Honda in Guildford are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Vehicle Technician to join our workshop team. No previous experience needed, just a willingness to learn and a passion for the role!

As an Apprentice Vehicle Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians, receiving hands-on training while completing a recognised apprenticeship programme. You will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist qualified technicians with vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
  • Learn how to carry out routine inspections and safety checks.
  • Develop the skills to diagnose vehicle faults using specialist diagnostic equipment.
  • Complete servicing and repair work in line with manufacturer and company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Build technical knowledge through practical experience and manufacturer training.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are used safely and correctly.
Requirements
  • Must be aged 16 or over.
  • Attend college and complete all apprenticeship coursework and assessments.
  • A genuine interest in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Grade 4 (or above) in both GCSE English and Maths is essential.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is preferred.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Reliable, punctual and eager to succeed.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
