Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Front-End Supervisor to oversee daily operations at the checkout area. This role ensures smooth transactions, efficient service, and a positive customer experience while leading a team of cashiers. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for working in a fast‑paced farm market environment.
This position averages 30-40 hours per week, with scheduling based on business needs and seasonal demand.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Staff Supervision- Oversee front‑end staff, including cashiers and baggers, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Train, coach, and mentor employees to follow proper checkout procedures and policies.
- Manage employee scheduling and breaks to maintain efficient workflow.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure cash registers are balanced at the start and end of each shift.
- Monitor and maintain the accuracy of transactions, refunds, and voids.
- Enforce loss prevention policies and proper handling of cash and card transactions.
- Keep checkout stations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Lead by example by providing outstanding customer service and fostering a welcoming shopping environment.
- Assist customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and problem resolution.
- Handle escalated customer complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Ensure front‑end promotions, signage, and displays are up to date.
