Job Description:

The Beach Club is seeking a friendly, reliable Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, and light breakfast foods. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring each guest enjoys a positive and memorable experience

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages according to company standards
• Prepare breakfast food items according to established standards
• Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders and handle cash and card transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed
• Answer customer questions and make menu recommendations
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

• Previous barista or food service experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Exhibits a consistently positive attitude
• Effective interpersonal communication skills
• Ensures accuracy and consistency through careful attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Time management and multitasking skills
• Demonstrates reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to teamwork

• Ability to stand/walk during entire shift
• Ability to reach, bend and stoop
• Ability to carry 25 pound several times during a shift over a medium distance
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
