Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources has an opening for an Administrative Assistant to provide administrative services in Gulfport, MS. The Administrative Assistant position plays a vital role in Pine Belt's ability in coordinating communication between team members and operating/coordinating administrative services for the specified location. Position is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with no on-call or weekend work.

Through an extensive continuum of care, we strive to enable adults with serious mental illnesses, children with serious emotional disturbances, and individuals with an addiction or developmental disability to live, work, learn, and participate fully in their communities. Our eighteen county service area includes Amite, Franklin, Forrest, Hancock, Harrison, Jones, Lamar, Lawrence, Covington, Greene, Jeff Davis, Marion, Pearl River, Perry, Pike, Stone, Walthall, Wayne Counties.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required;
    Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record required
  • Good communication skills in both verbal and written settings
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, required
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and to complete assigned tasks on schedule
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
Responsibilities
  • Data aggregation and compilation for Dept. of Mental Health reports, Pre-evaluations and Hospitalizations
  • Reporting for ISP, production, no-shows rates, and SAL/timesheets.
  • Completes duties as needed to ensure compliance with PBMHR and CARF standards.
  • Communicate with Coordinators and Supervisors for completion and program enrollment
  • Assist with financial data tracking and aggregation for operational budgets/expenses
