This is a full‑time, on‑site Construction Laborer role based in Gulfport, MS. The Construction Laborer will support paving and concrete crews by performing tasks such as site preparation, material handling, basic concrete placement, and cleanup. Responsibilities include operating hand and small power tools, assisting with formwork and reinforcement, and supporting the installation of roller‑compacted and traditional concrete. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, following safety procedures, and collaborating with supervisors and crew members to maintain productivity and quality standards.
The Construction Laborer will also help with equipment checks, basic maintenance tasks, and adherence to all company safety and quality guidelines.
- Experience or strong interest in Construction, including general site work and assisting with concrete or paving activities.
- Skills or familiarity with Masonry and Flooring work, such as basic concrete finishing, patching, or surface preparation.
- Ability to support Renovation or repair projects, including demolition, removal of damaged materials, and site cleanup.
- Willingness to learn and apply basic Research skills to understand work instructions, safety guidelines, and new construction methods.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety practices and use of personal protective equipment on active job sites.
- Reliable transportation to the Gulfport, MS job site and flexibility to work required shifts and overtime as needed.
- Prior experience in concrete, paving, or general construction is preferred but not required; on‑the‑job training may be provided.
