Position: Academic Mississippi Medical Center Seeks Movement Disorders and Neuromuscular Neurologists

An Academic Program in Mississippi is recruiting neurologists with fellowship training in Neuromuscular Neurology, Movement Disorders, and Neuro-Ophthalmology. They are excited to partner with the new neurologists to develop comprehensive centers in Movement Disorders, Neuro-Ophthalmology, and Neuromuscular Neurology.

Neuromuscular Position Highlights:

Leadership Opportunities for qualified candidates

Established consortium of neuromuscular neurologists (Three Neuromuscular Neurologists and One NP)

Institutional and departmental support to build a comprehensive neuromuscular program that includes research in addition to clinical care

Neuropathologist with special training and experience in nerve and muscle biopsies on staff

Multidisciplinary muscular dystrophy association (MDA) and ALS clinics

Candidates with interest in Neuromuscular ultrasound would be welcome and well supported

Facility averages 1,500 EMGs/year
