Solar is seeking a Materials & Reliability Engineer to join our growing engineering team and help deliver world-class specialty solar modules to cutting-edge technology companies around the globe. This role is highly cross-functional, balancing hands-on manufacturing support with advanced R&D efforts to introduce new solar technologies to the market. You’ll tackle a wide range of engineering challenges, from early-stage prototyping to solving complex manufacturing and reliability issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test innovative solar manufacturing technologies and processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to evaluate and qualify product performance and reliability.
- Lead R&D initiatives, from concept through early prototyping, analysis, and root cause/failure investigations.
- Recommend and implement design and process changes to improve yield, throughput, and manufacturability.
- Drive process integration and improvement across the product line.
- Contribute to brainstorming, concept development, and prototyping of next-generation solar technologies.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional engineering experience.
- BS/MS/PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to varied technical challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document findings and recommend next steps.
- Comfortable working in a small-team environment and contributing to company growth.
- Willingness to work on-site in a 9/80 schedule, with some flexibility for hybrid arrangements.
- Experience in solar, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, or similar industries preferred.
