Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical or civil engineering support for plant upgrades, equipment installations, and structural improvements
- Design, analyze, and optimize mechanical systems, components, and equipment to meet project specifications and performance goals
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical documentation using CAD and simulation tools
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (electrical, process, and manufacturing) to support system integration and problem‑solving in production environments
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical equipment, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (required)
- 2–8 years of experience in a heavy industrial environment (refining, chemical, pulp & paper, or similar)
- Familiarity with industrial codes, standards, and safety practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
