Position Details
Title: Electrical Engineer – Industrial / Power Systems
Location: Hamilton, MS (100% onsite)
Employment Type: Full-time, direct hire
Compensation: $115,000 – $140,000 (based on experience)
Relocation Assistance: Available
Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute long-term electrical asset management and reliability strategies
- Support and optimize plant power distribution systems, including switch gear, transformers, UPS systems, and generators
- Lead capital projects and asset improvement initiatives from planning through execution
- Perform power system analysis using tools such as ETAP
- Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and other applicable standards
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to improve system reliability and performance
- Conduct risk assessments and lifecycle cost analysis of electrical assets
- Support development of maintenance strategies, standards, and specifications
- Monitor site energy usage and electrical capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5–7+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Experience with medium to high voltage systems (up to 13.2kV)
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems and electrical codes
- Experience with asset lifecycle management and reliability engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and power system analysis tools (ETAP preferred)
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience in chemical, heavy industrial, or utility environments preferred
- Ability to work in an industrial plant environment
- Must be clean‑shaven where respirator use is required
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors and move throughout the facility
