BIM Engineer

Roy Anderson Corp., a Tutor Perini company, is seeking a BIM Engineer to join our office/project site in Gulfport, MS.

Roy Anderson Corp provides an opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience using BIM and construction technology on active construction projects. In this role, you will learn how models are used beyond design and drafting to support coordination, constructability, field planning, documentation, and project delivery.

• Learn from experienced construction, BIM/VDC, and technology professionals

• Understand how digital models are used on real construction projects

• Participate in coordination meetings with project teams, designers, and trade partners

• Gain exposure to architects, engineers, superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and owners

• Build practical experience with issue tracking, model reviews, field tools, and project documentation

• Develop technical skills through mentoring, training, and project-based learning

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• BIM / VDC Coordination

• Model Management and Quality Control

• Documentation and Communication

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Building Science, Drafting/Design Technology, or a related field

• Equivalent field, drafting, trade, construction, or BIM experience may also be considered

• 0–3 years of experience in BIM, VDC, construction, engineering, architecture, drafting, or trade coordination

• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply

• Basic exposure to Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revizto, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or similar modeling and coordination tools

• Basic understanding of construction drawings, building systems, and trade coordination

• Ability to read and learn from architectural, structural, civil, MEP, and shop drawings

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage details, deadlines, model updates, and issue logs

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Power Point
