Position: Member Loan Processor
Department: Centralized Funding
Reports To: Centralized Funding Team Lead
FLSA: Non-Exempt Grade: 9
Summary
The Member Loan Processor completes the loan process from the decision to funding readiness for applications received via inbound calls, digital channels, and outbound outreach. This role is responsible for ensuring all consumer loan files are complete, accurate, and meet compliance requirements before submitting for funding. This role is critical in providing a seamless member experience by efficiently building and preparing quality loans, delivering outstanding member service promptly, accurately, professionally, and courteously.

Essential Functions
- Completes the loan process from decision to ready for funding of applications received through the following channels: inbound calls, Digital channels, and Outbound calls.
- Review approved loan applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
- Assists members and non-members with loan closing questions, inquiries, loan disbursement, and required documentation to complete the loan process for the pending loan queue, as needed.
- Verify all required documents, including signed loan agreements, disclosures, and proof of collateral.
- Identify, obtain, and correct any discrepancies or missing documentation before submitting to funding.
- Calculate and verify loan funding amounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Adheres to lending policy and guidelines, including effectively interpreting VOI and VOE documentation.
- Verifies all necessary information as required by KFCU policies and procedures.
- Accurately reviews credit reports to identify additional sales opportunities and effectively cross-sell products to members.
- Informs members of possible alternatives, if necessary, and provides general information to the member about the lending process.
- Performs file maintenance and account changes and provides general account information as may be required.
- Maintains equipment and supplies necessary to keep the department working efficiently.
- Receives, opens, and makes required distribution of all departmental mail.
- Emails loan documents to members.
- Once a loan decision has been made, communicates the decision to the member positively and tactfully.
- Provides collateral value quotes by accurately determining the NADA value.
- Utilizes Opening Act and Symitar to open and process new accounts, alternate shares, certificates of deposit, and loan and credit card applications.
- Effectively uses the CRM to create and manage sales, referrals, and service events for members within Service Commitment timelines.
- Monitors electronic correspondence channels such as:
Live Chat, fax, message board, email, and web messages to ensure quality member services. - Supports the new member onboarding program.
- Meets established service and production goals for the Centralized Funding Department.
- Responsible for compliance with all Federal regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and all credit union policies and procedures.

Education
- A high school education or GED.
Experience and Other Requirements
- One to three years of similar or related experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
