Duties

Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail enhancements with precision and attention to detail
Apply color theory principles to create custom nail designs that match client preferences and current trends
Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
Provide expert advice on nail care routines, products, and treatments to promote healthy nails
Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair extensions, hair threading, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and barbering as applicable
Upsell retail products effectively by understanding client needs and demonstrating product benefits using retail math skills
Build strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalized service to encourage repeat visits

Experience

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role with a strong portfolio of nail art and design work
Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, sanitation protocols, and current beauty trends
Familiarity with retail sales strategies including upselling techniques to enhance client experience and business growth
Experience in additional beauty treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments is preferred
Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse clients and understand their beauty goals
Certification in cosmetology or related fields is required; additional certifications in esthetic laser treatment or barbering are advantageous
Ability to manage retail math calculations accurately for product recommendations and sales transactions
