Receptionist Part-Time - Evenings

Responsibilities

Gulfport Behavioral Health System, a 90-bed psychiatric hospital offering child, adolescent, adult, and military service behavioral health programs and treatment services.

Position Summary:

Join a team where the Receptionist greets and assists hospital visitors, answers the multi-line switchboard, documents incoming deliveries, processes incoming and outgoing mail, and provides clerical support as requested. The Receptionist may prepare deposits, prepare monthly statements for mailing, assist with various clerical duties and projects as assigned, and may assist with completing appropriate paperwork for new admissions during after‑hours shifts.

This is a part‑time benefit eligible position (30 hours/week). Hours are Monday‑Friday 5:00‑11:00 p.m.

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Two (2) years’ experience on a multi‑line telephone switchboard, preferably in a healthcare environment and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
