The Network Infrastructure Specialist IV is an advanced IT position at East Mississippi State Hospital responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise network infrastructure supporting clinical, administrative, and statewide systems across multiple facilities. This role manages high-impact infrastructure, cybersecurity readiness, vendor coordination, and enterprise connectivity while providing technical support and project leadership in a regulated healthcare environment.
Key qualifications- Bachelor's degree and 5-10+ years of IT experience with emphasis in network operations and administration
- Advanced expertise in enterprise network design, security, and operations
- Experience supporting complex, high-availability network environments
- Experience with enterprise switching, routing, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and VPNs in healthcare or regulated environments
- Ability to respond decisively to outages and cybersecurity incidents
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with leadership, vendors, and stakeholders
