Job SummaryProvides foundational support for the administration and maintenance of the University of Mississippi’s enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to ensure data integrity, system reliability,and secure access. Performs routine system administration tasks including data validation, user access management, and supportrequest tracking. Assists with testing, documentation, and implementation activities related to system updates and enhancements. Works under general supervision while developingtechnical knowledge of ERP system functionality and institutionalprocesses.
Job Description- Performs routine ERP system administration tasks including data validation, record maintenance, and monitoring system functionality
- Manages user access requests and maintains appropriatepermissions in accordance with established security protocols.
- Assists Administrators in mapping business processes usingbusiness process mapping methodologies.
- Assists in making recommendations for the selection oftechnology solutions to align with business strategies.
- Provides basic procedural and technical guidance to unit staff regarding technology usage and management, including tracking and responding to ERP support requests.
- Generates and maintains standard ERP reports to support operational and administrative needs.
- Participates in the execution of test plans to ensure desired results are achieved for system fixes, enhancements, and new releases.
- Participates in activities and proactively performs research to maintain knowledge of industry developments to advise functional stakeholders on new functionality, best practices, and adoptionplanning.
- Assists in maintaining hierarchies and structure for variousorganizational types in Workday
- Documents system processes, procedures, and user guidance tosupport consistent and effective system use.
- Oversees and maintains optimal function of Workday HCM/Payroll& Finance, which may include installation, customization,development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems,and modules.
- Partners with Workday Administrators to manage the Workdaytenant environment, including the scheduling/coordination of weeklysandbox refreshes and the migration of approved configurationchanges to production.
- Serves as a representative and liaison between HR, external vendors, and other stakeholders for ERP design and implementationprojects.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Partners with Administrators to create and maintain customvalidations, conditioning rules, and eligibility requirements.
Workday Administrator I: $62,442 - $93,642
Workday Administrator II: $68,682 - $103,002

Bachelor's and no experience
Workday Administrator II:
Bachelor's and three years' of experience
An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role.
Substitutions of the required experience or education will be assessed on a 1:1 substitution basis.
