We are seeking a Supply Technician (Lead) for our client site in Gulfport, MS. The successful candidate will have outstanding skills and will be committed to working with others to deliver best-in-class, unparalleled excellence in customer service and satisfaction.

Position Summary

The Supply Technician (Lead) provides comprehensive logistics and transportation support to the Mississippi Air National Guard, Gulfport, MS.

The incumbent provides leadership and oversight of the Supply and Transportation Management Office personnel while also performing stock control, inventory management, equipment accountability, and documentation operations in support of base supply activities.

The technician ensures compliance with installation access and security policies, safeguards government property, maintains accurate supply records, and supports timely movement and reporting of assets within ILSS and other supply systems.

This position plays a critical role in the execution of the overall MS ANG Combat Readiness Training Center mission.

Key Responsibilities Supply & Transportation Management
  • Coordinate, track, and manage supply and transportation activities performed by the contracted workforce.
  • Provide redundancy coverage in applicable areas.
  • Prevent excess accumulation by maintaining appropriate stock levels based on consumption rates.
  • Maintain accurate property accounting systems and documentation for on hand assets.
  • Perform document control operations including reverse posts, trend updates, and transaction history inquiries.
  • Maintain due in/due out validation records and weekly demand data.
  • Conduct bimonthly warehouse inspections to ensure stockage effectiveness in ILSS.
  • Apply ISO, AS9100, and other respective quality standards and ensure compliance across all business segments.
  • Apply Solution One policies, procedures, and standards relevant to the respective program and functional organizations.
Program and Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Monitor and maintain re-order points for centrally controlled items; notify government personnel of replenishment needs.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of supply chain procedures and policies.
  • Collaborate with Program Management, Operations Management, and Supply Chain Management to support production flow and program execution in support of client operations.
  • Responsible for providing the Government with compliant supplies and services and working with the customer regarding its administration of its Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan.
  • Collaborate with quality management system elements, other support functions, and customers to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments.
Reporting and Performance Measurement
  • Prepare reports and documentation for transferring excess items; verify proper signature authority.
  • Monitor and report shipment status weekly to ensure timely movement of assets.
  • Generate, run, and maintain required supply reports and property documentation databases.
  • Provide customers with stock availability, accountability, and reporting information.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Provide Supply information, guidance, and support to base customers.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding stock status, due ins, due outs, and demand data.
  • Support supply transactions, inquiries, and updates within ILSS and related systems.
  • Present monthly reports to management on operations status as directed.
  • Research discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are documented and completed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper filing of supply documentation.
  • Support audits, reconciliations, and property accountability reviews.
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Logistics, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of logistics experience; at least two (2) years of leadership/management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience managing records, reports, databases, and administrative correspondence.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must possess a current valid state driver’s license.
