Job Description

An Industrial Maintenance Mechanic will use diversified work to tear down, rebuild, and adjust any type of machine regardless of make or model. Tasks include scraping ways and bearings, leveling, and adjusting machines, using a variety of machine tools, applying judgment to adapt standard machines to special purposes, performing preventive maintenance, and maintaining workmanship standards to ensure machine efficiency and accuracy.

The position is based on site in Minneapolis. Relocation is provided for all eligible candidates.

• Perform regular maintenance and inspections on CNC machines to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with CNC equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and components, including motors, drives, and controllers.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machine performance.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs.
• Work with shop mathematics, handbook formulas, blueprints, and a wide variety of measuring instruments.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible candidates.

Relocation assistance available to eligible candidates.

• Coursework in Fluid Power Technology (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics) AND 2 years of repair experience OR 4 years directly applicable experience in Fluid Power Technology.
• Coursework in Machine Trades (e.g., lathe, vertical milling machine) AND 2 years of repair experience OR 4 years directly applicable experience in Machine Trades.
• Coursework in Pump/Pressure Machines (e.g., vacuum pump, fluid pump, compressed air) AND 2 years of repair experience OR 4 years directly applicable experience in Pump/Pressure Machines.
• Coursework in Industrial Repair of automated equipment and robotics AND 2 years of repair experience OR 4 years directly applicable experience in Industrial Repair of automated equipment and robotics.

The hourly base salary range for this position is $42.243/hour, not including any potential shift differential. Salary is a general guideline and may vary based on responsibilities, experience, education, skills, market, and business considerations.
