Dependable Composite Production Technician

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable Composite Production Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Gulfport, MS. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, hands-on trade experience, or a background in manufacturing, fabrication, or repair.

Pay: $20+/hour DOE

Responsibilities

• Repair, finish, and inspect fiberglass and composite parts.
• Prepare molds and production materials.
• Assist with fiberglass layup and resin lamination.
• Trim and finish composite materials.
• Safely handle chemicals, solvents, resins, and fiberglass.
• Follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.
• Perform basic measurements and quality inspections.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills.
• Reliable transportation and attendance.
• Comfortable working with chemicals and wearing required PPE.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.

Preferred experience:
