Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part Time PRN (Summerfield of Gulfport)

We'd Love To Have You! Summerfield of Gulfport is looking for a reliable, compassionate LPN to care for our residents in a professional and considerate manner. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. They will be responsible for supervising CNAs while on duty. The pay rate starts at $26-28/hr.

• Monitor residents' condition, ADL’s and assist in composition of care plans and needs
• Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
• Communicate with residents’ family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and instructions

• Proven experience as LPN or similar role in an assisted living community or long-term care facility
• Familiarity with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to calmly handle stressful situations
• Experience with dementia/memory loss is preferred
• Knowledge of Point Click Care  or similar electronic health record
• Successful completion of LPN license program. Licensure in MS required

Pay Range: $25-28 per hour. This is a part‑time position.
