Position Description – Red Bull On-Premise Sales Manager

Reports to:

Red Bull On Premise Brand Manager

Position Objective

The Red Bull On-Premise Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales and merchandising efforts for Red Bull North America brands for the Company, while providing cross departmental direction and communication.

Description of Physical Tasks
  • Keep shelves and vendors clean.
  • Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case).
  • Pushes/pulls hand truck to machine or shelves and loads appropriate company products.
  • Climbing in and out of vehicle and proper lifting techniques.
Responsibilities Include
  • Provide leadership, direction, and coaching for Red Bull selling efforts and initiatives to dedicated Red Bull team and total sales department.
  • Prepare and communicate sales analysis for Red Bull brands as needed or requested.
  • Provide cross departmental direction and communication for sales department.
  • Conduct Sales Power Coaching work withs for dedicated Red Bull team and as needed or assigned for total beverage sales team.
  • Directly call on and interact with customers to transact sales of company products through personal selling efforts.
  • Make sales calls on assigned accounts to ensure close working relationships with owners and managers.
  • Call on new accounts prior to opening and non-buying accounts monthly.
  • Be aware of all competitive activity within your assigned territories, including opportunities that can increase sales.
  • Spend minimum, 75%, of your time in the field or market making sales or working to grow sales in assigned territory.
  • Prepare monthly approved sales and marketing plan identifying objectives for the month.
  • Prepare and participate in daily team huddle calls, and weekly team meetings to discuss sales and customer growth.
  • Prepare and participate in the bi-monthly sales meetings to discuss promoting sales and customer growth.
  • Perform any incidental or secondary duties as needed or requested in furtherance of sales objectives.
  • Conduct all activities within the guidelines of all company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with the local, state, and federal liquor control regulations.
  • Perform all work activities in accordance with safe work practices, policies, and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • Strong selling skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Solution selling skills
  • Ability to work cohesively across multiple departments within the company
  • Two year beverage industry experience is required
  • Four year undergraduate degree (preferred but not always required)
  • Two years prior sales experience (preferred but not always required)
