Security Officer
Provides security for Island View Casino & Beach Resort, safeguarding property, ensuring patron and employee safety, and maintaining a friendly environment. Adeptly escorts chips, cash, and table game drops; checks credentials to prevent unauthorized access to gaming floor; promptly responds to emergencies; monitors and reports criminal or suspicious activity; and prepares daily security incident reports.
Responsibilities- Escort chips, cash, and table game drops.
- Verify credentials/identification to prevent unauthorized entry onto gaming floor.
- Respond to emergency situations and report incidents.
- Prepare security incident reports daily.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to obtain a Mississippi Gaming Permit.
- Prior security, safety, or loss prevention experience preferred.
- Ability to learn and follow detailed security manual and procedures.
- Strong written reporting skills: clear, concise, accurate, and complete.
- Ongoing working knowledge of emergency response procedures.
Full‑time position.
Pay: $14.25 per hour.
Location:
Island View Casino Resort.
