Overview

The ideal candidate for this position aspires to become a Head Golf Professional, within the next one to three years.

Established in 1924, PYCC has long been recognized as one of the premier golf courses in the county. The club was founded by Walter Hagen and Jack Taylor, who replaced the former Bear Creek Golf Course with what is now known as "Pasadena on the Gulf." Walter Hagen served as the first Head Golf Professional at PYCC and was ranked the number one golfer in the country during that era.

Notably, part of the renowned "Match of the Century" between Hagen and Bobby Jones took place at our club.

Over the years, PYCC has hosted prestigious events, including the St. Petersburg Open and the Ladies Orange Blossom Tours.

For the past decade, the club has been under the ownership of Dr. Jeffrey Paonessa, a local oncologist and investor. During this period, PYCC has undergone significant upgrades to enhance the member experience to contemporary luxury standards. Renovations are ongoing, and we are committed to achieving our desired standards of excellence.

• Private Club golf operations experience is required.
• PGA Associate in good standing

• Manage, mentor, and cultivate a team of professionals and support staff who provide unparalleled levels of service to Members and guests
• Provide instruction for players of varying abilities
• Assist with merchandising and inventory
