Skilled Roofing Laborers and Foremen

This Position is for Skilled Roofers and Foremen with a company based in Gulfport, MS. Work will performed at locations in Mississippi and Louisiana.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Foreman to lead and supervise our roofing crews. The Roofing Foreman will be responsible for managing daily on-site operations, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining compliance with safety and company standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical roofing expertise, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project managers and team members.

• Project Supervision & Execution:
  Oversee and coordinate roofing projects from start to finish. Ensure roofing work is completed on schedule and meets quality standards. Assign tasks to crew members and ensure proper execution of work. Conduct daily site inspections and resolve any job site issues.
• Crew Management & Leadership:
  Supervise and train roofing team members, ensuring adherence to best practices. Motivate and direct the crew to maintain high productivity and efficiency. Communicate job expectations clearly to all team members. Evaluate crew performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Enforce OSHA and company safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment. Conduct safety meetings and ensure all employees are using proper fall protection and PPE. Identify and mitigate job site hazards.
• Material & Equipment Management:
  Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are available and properly maintained. Monitor material usage to reduce waste and ensure efficient job completion. Coordinate deliveries and inventory management with the warehouse and suppliers.
• Quality Control & Customer Interaction:
  Inspect work for quality assurance and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Address customer questions or concerns on-site professionally. Maintain clear and professional communication with project managers and clients.

• 5+ years of roofing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job specifications.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  
  Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work at heights, and handle labor-intensive tasks.

• Experience in residential and commercial roofing.
• Knowledge of metal roofing, TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen systems.
• Roofing certification or relevant trade school training.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
