Tire Technician

Overview

Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores is hiring Tire Technicians to work in a fast-paced environment with a clean, friendly setting. You will interact with customers and drivers from all over, helping their travel go smoothly. No experience? No problem — we will teach you!

• Take ownership of the sale, removal, and replacement of tires up to, but not limited to, commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service.
• Be responsible for equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility including general housekeeping duties.
• Move and lift 75+ pounds; work in close quarters and in various temperatures.
• Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
• Obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love’s).

• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lift 75+ pounds, work in variable temperatures).
• Willingness to work a rotating day/night schedule.
• Ability to obtain a medical card through the DOT (paid by Love’s).
