Managing Lead Mechanic

Our client is seeking an experienced Managing Lead Mechanic to play a critical role in supporting safe, reliable air medical transport operations. • Perform and oversee daily maintenance and inspection activities to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
• Communicate proactively with the Lead Mechanic regarding irregular findings, schedule impacts, or additional resource needs.
• Manage maintenance activities for assigned aircraft at field bases, including parts ordering and inventory oversight.
• Certify that all maintenance complies with FAA, manufacturer, and company standards through accurate documentation.
• Ensure precise and timely entries in RAMCO, including work packages and aircraft status updates.
• Collaborate closely with the Lead Mechanic and AMBS to meet maintenance timelines.
• Monitor parts inventory levels and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Protect company tools and ensure required calibrations are completed on time.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Certified Aircraft Mechanic.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, functional capacity test (lifting up to 100 lbs), drug screening, and background check.
• For Roving Maintenance Team Mechanics: experience with sheet metal repair and/or avionics troubleshooting and repair.
• Based in Mississippi, with the ability and willingness to travel to multiple maintenance sites throughout the state.
• Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and work night shifts as required.
