Role Overview
As a  Motion Graphic Designer  at Growth Jockey, you will bring ideas to life through dynamic visuals, animations, and storytelling. You will collaborate closely with marketing, product, and content teams to create high-impact motion assets across digital platforms.
This role is ideal for someone who is creatively driven, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where speed, innovation, and quality matter.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs / KPIs)
Develop and execute engaging motion graphics and animated content for:

Social media reels & performance ads
Brand videos & promotional campaigns
Explainer videos & product walkthroughs
Animated banners & digital advertisements
E-commerce motion creatives & short-form videos

Translate creative briefs and marketing strategies into compelling motion concepts that resonate with target audiences.
Create storyboards, animatics, and motion style frames before final production.
Ensure brand consistency across all motion assets while adhering to established brand guidelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, content) to understand objectives and deliver high-quality outputs within timelines.
Edit and enhance raw video footage with motion graphics, sound design, transitions, and effects.
Optimize motion creatives for different digital platforms (Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, Meta Ads, etc.).
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high creative and technical standards.
Stay updated with animation trends, AI-powered creative tools, and emerging motion design techniques to continuously elevate output quality.

✨ Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Motion Graphics, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in motion graphics or video production, preferably in a digital marketing agency or high-growth startup.
Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Good understanding of animation principles, timing, transitions, and visual storytelling.
Experience creating motion creatives for digital marketing and paid campaigns.
Basic knowledge of video editing, sound design, and rendering formats.
Strong portfolio showcasing motion ads, reels, explainer videos, and brand animations.
Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate quickly based on business requirements.
Clear communication skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Nice to Have

Experience with 3D tools like Blender or Cinema 4D.
Knowledge of UI motion and micro-interactions.
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for animated assets.
Exposure to AI-driven video editing or motion automation tools.
Illustration skills or ability to create custom animated elements.
