Position Overview
The General Manager – Franchise Services will be responsible for ensuring that all franchise-operated Sarovar Hotels operate in complete alignment with the brand’s service standards, operational excellence, and financial expectations.
This role is ideal for a seasoned Hotel Manager / General Manager with strong expertise in SOPs, audits, operational reviews, and owner relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Brand Standards & SOP Management
- Ensure all franchise hotels adhere to Sarovar brand standards, operating guidelines, and service SOPs.
- Conduct periodic audits and quality checks across franchise properties.
- Identify operational gaps and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Update and drive implementation of new or revised SOPs across the franchise network.
- Monitor hotel performance (rooms, F&B, guest experience, financial KPIs).
- Analyse MIS reports, STR reports, guest feedback, audits, and ensure targeted improvements.
- Support hotels in enhancing operational efficiency and profitability.
- Review hotel budgets, forecasts, and business plans.
- Conduct regular operational review meetings with hotel GMs and department heads.
- Provide strategic guidance on operations, revenue management, cost control, and service excellence.
- Support pre-opening activities, operating set-up, and training for new franchise hotels.
- Build strong, professional relationships with franchise owners and key stakeholders.
- Act as the corporate point of contact for all operational matters.
- Identify training requirements across franchise hotels.
- Mentor property GMs and leadership teams to elevate overall performance.
- Ensure all franchise hotels meet brand quality metrics—guest satisfaction, hygiene standards, audits, and compliance requirements.
- Oversee compliance with statutory, safety, and brand-related guidelines.
- Submit monthly operations reviews and improvement reports to senior leadership.
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience & Expertise:
- 12–18 years of total hospitality experience.
- Must have worked as a Hotel Manager / General Manager in a branded hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, SOP frameworks, quality audits, guest experience, and revenue management.
- Experience managing multiple properties or regional operations (preferred).
- Previous exposure to franchise/managed hotels is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of hotel operations and brand standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to read business numbers and MIS reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence, coach, and guide diverse hotel teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with operational agility.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
