Our team’s primary focus is supporting corporate meetings, experiential marketing events, product launches, trade shows and brand activations. Providing a unique blend of both creative and staging services, Sardis Media is a team of artists, producers and technology experts who bring amazing ideas to life on every project.
WhoWe Need
We are currently seeking a video technician to support our live and virtual event productions in a fast paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Reports to the Technical Resource Director
- Assist Project Managers in evaluating video equipment needs for upcoming projects
- Video equipment operation and maintenance on location at event sites, in our studio and in the warehouse
- LED video wall installation, operation and maintenance on location at event sites, in our studio and in the warehouse
- Consistent domestic travel to live event locations
- Assist in the prep, pack and loading of equipment for events
- A minimum of two years of experience in live and virtual audio visual production, broadcast, theater, or related area
- Knowledge of video switcher systems including, but not limited to, Ross, Panasonic, Blackmagic and Barco
- Knowledge of LED video wall construction and operation
- A strong understanding of SDI based workflows
- Strong computer skills including Mac and Windows operating systems, as well as an understanding of IP-based networking
- A desire to work in a collaborative environment with a team-first mentality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay rangePay range in Gurnee, IL. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Base salary$60/yr – $70/yr
