- Current dental hygienist license in Illinois.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x‑rays and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills.
- Ability to meet clinical needs as required by the office.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
- Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
- TB test required for all new hires in dental office positions, except in the states of Florida and Tennessee.
