Playground/Lunchroom Supervisor
Job DescriptionSupervise students on the playground and maintain safety and established guidelines.
Essential Performance Responsibilities- Education:
High School diploma or GED equivalent. - Experience:
Experience with children preferred; good people skills and a strong work ethic.
Support the establishment of mutual respect and equal human dignity across the entire school community.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students and staff.
- Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Comprehensive strategic thinking and rapid problem‑solving skills for crisis situations.
- Empathetic, humanistic, and open‑minded.
- Strong sense of teamwork.
- Harmonious collaboration with community, students, parents, staff, and administration.
- Effective communication with students and staff.
- Sound judgment in dealing with people.
Manual dexterity required for skilled and accurate operations involving close coordination.
Physical effort may involve handling average weight materials or equipment for brief periods.
Working conditions may include exposure to disagreeable elements.
Terms of EmploymentTerms and compensation: salary commensurate with experience and ability under collective bargaining agreement ($15.64/hour minimum).
