Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school psychologist serving district-wide needs in a welcoming educational environment. This full-time, in-person contract runs from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, covering approximately 33.25 hours per week. Collaborate with educators, students, and families to deliver exceptional psychological support and ensure student success across the district.

Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Master's degree in educational psychology or an equivalent field
  • Completion of at least one year of internship supervised by a credentialed school psychologist
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License as a School Psychologist
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work onsite, providing services across multiple schools within the district
  • Demonstrated commitment to supporting students' academic, emotional, and social development
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual psychological assessments and interpret results for the development of student support plans
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to determine student eligibility for special education services
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create effective interventions and behavioral strategies
  • Support students through counseling, crisis intervention, and skill-building sessions
  • Consult with parents and guardians regarding student needs, progress, and resources
  • Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments across the district
