As a travel SLP, you'll be immersed in collaborative school teams comprised of special education supervisors, social workers, psychologists, and other SLPs. Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois SLP license
  • PEL (Professional Educators License) for IL schools via ISBE
  • Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are highly valued
  • SLP-CCC credential required
  • Pediatric or school-based SLP experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of 3545 students (35 hours/week)
  • Collaborate with 35 SLPs and a multidisciplinary team in each school
  • Conduct evaluations, eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Provide direct therapy and RtI support
