- Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments
- Submit insurance claims accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow up on outstanding insurance claims and resolve claim issues or denials
- Review explanations of benefits (EOBs) and ensure accurate account posting
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status, benefits, and policy details
- Assist patients and families with questions related to insurance coverage and claims
- Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate treatment coding and claim submission
- Maintain organized and accurate insurance records and documentation
- Support other administrative tasks and office duties as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative or insurance experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing insurance claims and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with insurance companies and patients in a professional and helpful manner
- Comfort explaining insurance benefits and claim processes to patients and families

Salary: $18–21 / Hour
