DP Technical Product Manager
Compensation: $90,000 - $115,000 (based on qualifications)
Position SummaryThis position is responsible for all technical aspects focusing on software applications relating to Domino digital printing product portfolio. The role has cross functional responsibility and interacts with all departments on matters relating to their products. The role will focus on product reliability, customer efficiency, Domino service efficiency, and aftermarket. This role will also liaise with Domino Group personnel to ensure a strong, collaborative relationship exists with the group technical representatives.

Main Responsibilities/Essential Functions- Lead and deliver and delivering customized training programs
- Lead, install, train and implement DFE workflows on new press sales
- Help in developing strategies to make customers more efficient and increase aftermarket
- Help in developing strategies to sell more aftermarket products and services
- Participating in pre- sales activities – Demonstrations and TCO
- Help to develop strategies to improve effectiveness of pre-sales activities.
- Support customers via telephone/helpdesk when needed
- Help Domino staff to help better support customer with DFE, workflow and applications training of customers
- Lead training of other Domino staff on installation, training, and implementation of DFE workflows on new press sales
- Help in developing strategies to increase installation efficiencies with Service team
- Provide detailed documentation for all site visits including outcomes and action plans
- Document application details from customer visits
- Provide market feedback and customer requirements to Product Management
- Provide reliability data to Service Team
- Manage escalations with DFE and applications issues
- Work with Domino Group Development team in product validation
- Work with NA Technical Product Managers to support in product validation, product issues, and escalation.

What You Need Education & Experience- Preferred Associates or Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) with experience and/or training in printing technology; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must understand entire digital print life cycle, including but not limited to:
Press Settings, MIS/ERP systems, file prep, VDP, color management/RIP software, output. - Valid Driver’s License required
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Able to work with different levels of employees/customers
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – Excel;
PowerPoint and Word - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and ask for help when necessary
- Light work. Light work involves exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a small amount of force constantly to move objects. Pushing, pulling, stooping, reaching, gross/fine manipulation, driving, kneeling, crawling, and climbing may be required. Physical demand requirements are more than those for Sedentary Work.
