Maintenance Custodian Associate

Overview

Position:
Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club. You are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept environment, including a clean parking lot, restrooms, and floors. Expect to be on your feet and on the go, while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure a great member experience from start to finish.

• Maintain safety of facility by following safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, fork-lift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to Management.
• Clean all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store chemicals properly, and place orders to replenish supplies when low.
• Physically capable of working a full shift on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

• Protect safety of facility and team by following all safety standards and guidelines, including proper hazardous materials handling and disposal.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, and using cleaning equipment per procedures.

• Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr
• Additional compensation may include premiums based on schedule, facility, or work performed.
